Motor mania breaks out

The Busan International Motor Show 2012 will finally kick off on May 25 until June 3 at BEXCO. Numerous imported automobile companies will participate in the sixth motor show, which is expected to be the biggest ever.

This year¡¯s motor show theme is ¡°The Voyage of the Green Car Across the Ocean.¡± Five automobile companies in Korea (including Renault Samsung and Kia Motors), three commercial automobile companies, 40 automobile parts companies and nine imported car brands filed for participation. There will be a total of 1,850 booths.

Renault Samsung announced that it will reveal a fashionable crossover concept car during the motor show. Maserati, one of the most luxurious luxury car brands, will present its Quattroporte Sport GT S, GranTurismo S Automatic, GranTurismo MC Stradale and GranCabrio Sport. A large number of other noteworthy imported car brands as BMW, MINI, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Volkswagen, Bentley, Toyota, Lexus, Nissan, Infiniti, Ford, Lincoln and Cadillac will participate as well. As side events, there will be export consulting, automobile parts policy explanation and consulting, a Busan-Fukuoka seminar, a car audio festival and a tuning festival. There is also an event handing out gifts every day. May 24 is the press day and the official opening is on May 25.
