Busan City is ready for a successful 95th Lions Clubs International Convention in Busan from June 22 to 26.
Transportation plan
From June 12 to 29, Busan City has prepared a 45 person bus so the visitors can move around the city more comfortably. From June 14 to 22, a total of 36 buses will be operating from Gimhae International Airport to major hotels. During the same period, six buses will be operating from Busan Station to major hotels in the city. About 30 to 54 buses will be operating between hotels and BEXCO from June 17 to 26.
On June 23, 142 buses will be operating from each hotel to the parade venue Suyeong Bay Yachting Center.
Accommodation plan
Busan City has designated 19 hotels as its official accommodation from June 10 to 29. Eight hotels are in Haeundae, two are in Gwangalli, six are in Nampo-dong, two are in Seomyeon and one is in Sasang.
Busan City has designated Lotte Hotel as its headquarter hotel and supporting accommodation for 150 of the international director members (and their companion). For 1,500 district governors selected the city has designated Paradise, Grand Hotel and Novotel as official accommodation and has designated Westin Chosun Hotel for the DGE Group leaders.
Safety plan
Participants can use the medical room within BEXCO and designated hospitals in case of emergency. The medical room in BEXCO will have emergency kit, camp bed and respirator and from June 22 to 26 five people will be stationed to help out in case of emergency.
Five hospitals including Haeundae Paik Hospital, Good Moonhwa Hospital, Bongseng Hospital have been chosen as emergency patient evacuation hospital and 24 hour emergency treatment system will be set up.
